Warranty

You are able in register your bike in the account. Please note that if you had entered your customer details at the point of purchase from one of our outlets, please use that same email to create an account. If you only provided your contact number and not your email, kindly drop us a message with your customer details for further assistance.

A copy or image of the receipt is necessary. Effective from Model Year 2018, the warranty extends from the date of purchase, applies only to the original owner and is not transferable. Registration is required for purchases from Tay Junction stores on Shopee and Lazada.

Bikes:

  1. Limited lifetime warranty on bicycles not intended for downhill purposes.
  2. Limited 3-year warranty on bicycles intended for downhill purposes.
  3. Limited 1-year warranty on Giant branded components such as wheels, handlebar, stem against manufacture defects.
  4. Warranty for non-Giant branded components are based on respective brand's warranty policy.
  5. Wear and tear parts on the product is not covered under any warranty. (E.g. Tires, chains, brakes, cables, chainring, cassette, in situation where there is no material defect or error in assembly.) Damage or defect as a result of an accident or improper usage and installation are not covered.

Limited Remedy:

  1. Defective parts will be replaced with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Giant or Tay Junction.
  2. In no event shall Giant or Tay Junction be responsible for any direct, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability, or any other theory.
  3. Claims made outside the country of purchase may be subject to fees and additional restrictions.
  4. Warranty duration and detail may differ by frame type and/or by country.

CADEX's White Glove Warranty Policy ("Limited Warranty") applies to first-hand purchasers of CADEX wheelsets. This Limited Warranty is applicable for 2-year from the Date of Purchase (DOP), covering manufacture defects excluding cosmetics. Starting from the same DOP, the Limited Warranty includes a 5-year crash replacement.

2-year Limited Warranty conditions :
First-hand owner must provide proof of purchase. Consumables including tires, brake pads, rim tape, bearings are not covered. Any damage resulting from usage of non-recommended tires and brake pads will not be covered.

5-year Crash Replacement conditions :
Applicable only to first-hand owners and is only limited to a single use. Owners are to register their Cadex wheelsets within 8 weeks from DOP to be enrolled in the crash replacement program. Owners are to provide the crashed product to authorized CADEX dealer. Additional materials and labour cost required to return the bike to full working order shall be borne by the owner. If the model to replace is no longer available, a similar Cadex product from the most recent line-up will be substituted. The 50% discount will be taken as 50% of the original price of the wheels.

The crash replacement policy does not apply to Cadex Tri Framesets.

Helmet

The warranty covers your helmets for 2 years from manufacturing defects. Limar also offers a lifetime 50% crash replacement when your ride goes sideways.

All warranties will be voided if the product is damaged due to user crash, abuse, system alteration, modification, or used in any way not intended as described in the manual.

2 Years: Pump, tools, stand, baskets, bottle cages, child carrier, racks

1 Year: Bags, lights, phone holders, saddles, fenders, bike covers

Corrosion; lack of servicing; wear and tear; damage resulting from a collision; improper installation, operation or service; and use of incompatible or modified parts is not covered under warranty.

Q: What is the warranty process for SRAM/RockShox/Truvativ/Quarq products?

A: If you are the original owner and the product was purchased within the last two years, follow the steps below to submit your product for warranty evaluation.

Step 1: Contact your original point-of-purchase (online and offline stores) with the original proof of purchase/tax invoice/receipt. If your point of purchase is unavailable, please fill in the form at this link.

Step 2: The SRAM Service Centre will notify you/your dealer about the approval or denial of the warranty claim.

If you have questions about the evaluation process, your dealer can contact the Service Centre for your warranty claim’s status.

Q: Why was I charged a fee for warranty repair or replacement?

A: For units purchased from SRAM dealers (local or overseas), handling fee derived from taxes and freight charges may apply. Please ask your SRAM dealer about handling and labour fees before service.
