From windswept flats to climbs, corners and descents, the new Trinity Advanced SL delivers dynamic speed and control when every second counts. Easily adaptable to triathlon or TT, and featuring aero-integrated hydration and fueling systems, it’s lighter, more aerodynamic and smoother riding than the previous generation, with greater adjustability to dial in position and fit.
KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS
Increased Efficiency
The all-new Avow Advanced SL Tri Frameset represents a significant leap forward in performance, transitioning from Advanced-grade composite to Liv’s most premium Advanced SL-grade composite. This upgrade, combined with refined tube shapes and enhancements to components like the cockpit, hydration system, and bento box, delivers a frameset that is 433grams lighter than its predecessor. With nearly a decade of proven performance on the racecourse, the Avow Advanced SL has been shaped by athlete feedback. Riders praised the original Avow’s balance of steering, sprinting, and pedaling stiffness, which Liv retained while reducing weight. The result is a 10% improvement in efficiency, delivering a lighter, faster, and more agile frameset that delivers the edge athletes need to excel on race day.
Optimized Aerodynamics
Aerodynamic performance remains a cornerstone of the Avow’s design, even with the addition of disc brakes for superior control and stability. Liv overcame the typical aerodynamic challenges of disc brakes by applying its proprietary AeroSystem Shaping Technology and refining every tube shape and junction. Key updates include modified truncated ellipse profiles on the head tube, down tube, fork, and seatpost, as well as redesigned frame and fork tubing that shields the front and rear calipers from the wind, minimizing drag while maintaining aero efficiency. The AeroVault System further enhances aerodynamics while offering practical fueling solutions. Developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and wind-tunnel testing, the AeroVault includes a seamlessly integrated bento box and hydration system. The updated bento box now
holds six 32g gels (up from four) and the hydration system features dual-sided access and capacity of 700 ml (XXS, XS, S) or 850 ml (M).
Improved Adjustability
Built for precision and personalization, the Avow Advanced SL Tri Frameset adapts effortlessly to both triathlon and TT disciplines. Triathletes can enjoy a more upright, endurance-focused position, while time trialists can achieve an aggressive aerodynamic setup by cutting the steerer tube and removing spacers. The armrests now offer 24x more adjustment options, allowing riders to fine-tune stack, reach, angle, and width with a simple two-bolt mechanism. The redesigned seatpost adds further versatility with four offset positions and a 51mm adjustment range—an improvement over the previous generation’s two positions and 40mm range—giving athletes the flexibility to achieve their ideal riding position with greater comfort and efficiency.
