Speed doesn’t have to be limited to perfectly smooth roads. The all-new FastRoad AR range builds on the performance of its zippy predecessor and adds all-road capabilities—so you can ride all types of roads and conditions with efficiency and control.
Go from city streets to remote country roads, smooth bike paths to gravel adventures. All with zero compromises. Effortless speed, smooth ride quality, and the added stability of a flat handlebar setup. The new FastRoad AR range lets you expand your horizons like never before.
The FastRoad AR range is a great choice for fitness riders who prefer a more stable, upright position compared to traditional road bikes that have drop handlebars. It’s also designed with ergonomics in mind. The D-Fuse seatpost absorbs road shocks and vibrations, and the ErgoContact saddle has a wide profile and center cutout for optimal support and comfort on variable roads.
The frameset has plenty of tire clearance, and all models come with high-volume 40mm all-road tires that can
go from pavement to gravel and dirt with total confidence. All models feature hydraulic disc brakes, giving you powerful braking performance in changing road conditions and weather.
Frame geometry is specifically engineered for a dynamic feel that blends stable flat-bar positioning with speed and road acceleration.
Proprietary “D” shaped composite seatpost dampens vibrations, resulting in a smooth, compliant ride.
Easy-to-use mounts on the frame and fork offer the option to add racks, fenders and other accessories.
The FastRoad AR range includes both composite and aluminum frameset options, and both are significantly lighter than the previous generation models. The FastRoad AR Advanced is handcrafted with Advanced Composite material, shaving more than 200 grams over the previous generation FastRoad. This gives it a more dynamic ride quality that climbs and accelerates with improved efficiency. It also has a stiffer bottom bracket area for optimal power transfer, helping you accelerate and climb faster. The FastRoad AR is constructed with an ALUXX aluminum frame and composite fork, a combination that makes for lightweight, strong and durable performance on all types of roads.
Flat handlebar frame geometry creates a more upright riding position for confident handling. New modifications include a slightly slacker head angle, a longer wheelbase, and a greater bottom bracket drop. This gives the new FastRoad AR range a more stable feel, especially on rough roads. It also borrows some key design features from Giant’s Revolt gravel bikes, including a lower seatstay junction that delivers a smoother feel on rough roads. All models come with a D-Fuse composite seatpost, which has a D-shaped design that further absorbs road shocks and vibrations to improve comfort and minimize fatigue. The new ErgoContact saddle has a modern profile with a shorter, wider shape and center cutout to improve comfort on longer rides.
The FastRoad AR’s purpose-built frameset places an emphasis on all-road versatility and performance. In addition to being lightweight and efficient, the frame and fork boast plenty of tire clearance, so you have the option to run high-volume tires (up to 42mm) for added control on rough roads and gravel. Select models come with Giant WheelSystems and 40mm Gavia Fondo AR tubeless tires made for all-road performance. Single or double chainring setups are available on different models to suit individual riding style and terrain, and all include integrated mounts on the top tube and fork so you can easily attach bags, racks or other accessories to suit your riding style and ambitions.
